Florence Wesolowski (nee Blaszczak) age 95, passed peacefully Friday, October 10, 2025, at home in West Deptford, NJ. Born in Philadelphia to parents Joseph and Stella Blaszczak.
Florence was a wonderful wife and mother raising her family in Philadelphia with her beloved husband, Francis. Florence was dedicated to her Catholic faith as an active member of St. John Cantius Parrish. Florence loved being a grandmother and great grandmother and truly enjoyed the time she spent with her family, as well as her nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Florence had a passion for cake decorating and is fondly remembered for the many beautiful birthday cakes she shared with friends and family. Florence was a faithful and dedicated member of many organizations including Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, North Cape May Seniors, NARFE Government Retirees, Meals on Wheels, North Cape May String Band and working Election Polls in Philadelphia and New Jersey. Florence and her husband were active members of St. John of God Roman Catholic Church in North Cape May.
Florence is survived by her loving children, Stephen, Annette Zambrano (Robert deceased), Therese (Frank) Brandis, and Mark (Denise); by her grandchildren, Nicole (Brian) Overton, Robert (Kimberly) Zambrano, Joseph (Lily) Wesolowski, Krissy (Zak) Frederick, Kevin (Amanda) Brandis, and Danielle Brandis; and two great grandchildren Gianna Zambrano and Teagan Brandis.
Florence is predeceased by her loving husband Francis; her brothers, Henry, Benjamin, Ignatius, Stanley, and Reverend Camillus Blazak; her sisters, Jennie, Mary Liszewski, Adela O'Donnell, and Clara Tarnowski.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 9:30am - 10:45am at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am in church, with burial to follow at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 North Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ 08094.
