Remembering Josephine Faith Allen
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Josephine Faith Allen, a beloved grandmother, mother, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on September 6, 2024, at the age of 87.
Josephine, or Joy, as she liked to be called, was born on March 7, 1937, in Los Angeles. Her parents were Robert and Sylvia Kofler and had immigrated from Austria.
Joy was a devoted Christian who was known for her unwavering love for her family and her boundless capacity for generosity; she created a haven of warmth that will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire and guide her family, and they will never forget all the countless memories and lessons she imparted throughout her life.
Joy leaves behind her son, Dwight, daughter-in-law Rosita and her grandchildren, Kristine and Katherine. She was preceded in death by her son, Wesley, and her loving husband, Eddie, who was her constant companion and source of strength.
Joy's spirit will continue to inspire us, and her memory will be cherished forever by those who knew her. We find solace in knowing that her love and warmth will live on in the stories we share and the lives she touched.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the staffs at Copper Ridge, Mercy Medical Center, and the funeral home of Allen and Dahl for both their empathy and compassionate care they have shown to Joy Allen and her family.
