Josephine Hallie Guse (Gooch), of West Allis, WI, entered eternal life on August 30, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on March 31, 1939, Jo lived a life defined by love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.

Beloved mother of Patrick (Sheryl) Guse of Brookfield, David Groves of Virginia, and Todd Groves of West Allis. Cherished grandmother of Cayden, Taylor, Kyler, Vanessa, Collin, Brooke, Madeline, Mikayla, Morgan, Nicole, and Hayley. Loving sister of John Gooch, Mary Turner, Thomas Gooch, Barbera Jean, Betty Moe, and Kathleen Dyke. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren, dear friends, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Guse, her son, Mark Groves and sister Jerry.

Jo was a stunning beauty, Prom Queen in her youth and effortlessly elegant throughout her life. She was always impeccably dressed, with a timeless sense of style that reflected her love of fashion and her belief in quality over quantity. Shopping outings were among her favorite pastimes, treasured moments that brought her joy.

She found comfort and pride in her home, which was a warm and welcoming reflection of her personality. Her kitchen was a place of love, where she prepared favorite meals for her sons with care. Her walls were adorned with her prized needlepoint creations, each one stitched with patience and love.

Affectionately known as "Jogee," Jo dedicated her life to nurturing others through her work as an in-home childcare provider. Her gentle spirit, patience, and wisdom touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on generations of children and families. Her legacy lives on not only in her beloved family but also in the hearts of those she cared for so deeply.

Her warmth, laughter, beauty, and unconditional love will be remembered always. Though she will be missed dearly, Jo will forever remain close to our hearts.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 until the time of 3:00 followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00,

at Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI. 53005.
