Josephine Lamcha Obituary
Jo was the loving mother of Gerald ("Jerry") Lamcha (deceased), Sharon Lamcha, Kenneth ("Kenny") Lamcha (deceased), and James Matrix (formerly Lamcha) (deceased).
She was a much-loved grandmother to Christopher Lamcha and Brandon Lamcha, and an aunt and great-aunt to many.
Born in Cleveland on March 28, 1934, Jo was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Helen (née Chmielewski), both deceased. She was preceded in death by her dear siblings Chester ("Chet") Gapinski, Walter ("Laddie") Gaye, and Pauline Satanik.
Jo was a loving mother and grandmother. She was devoted to her many cats and dogs over the years, was deeply spiritual, a voracious reader, and spent many years practicing yoga, tai chi, and meditation.
She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
Private service and interment at Woodvale Cemetery, Middleburg Hts., OH, April 1, 2026. Donations welcome: The Salvation Army.
