Joshua Aaron Arthur, 47, entered into eternal rest on April 24, 2024. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on January 17, 1977 and lived all over the world. He is survived by his parents, Laurence Shaun Arthur and Lani Marie Davis Arthur; his sister Megan Williams, her husband Tarell and children DeVon Arthur (Amanda Regalado and sons Jiraiya and Royale), Julian Arthur, Alynah Williams, Zante Williams, and XaVion Williams; his sister Mollie Arthur and her daughter Leila Arthur.
Josh had a variety of interests to include a wide spectrum of music (though he hated country music), building models, writing, drawing, and painting. He loved nature, astronomy, being outdoors, thunderstorms, and history. He loved the paranormal and cryptids; he always took an interest in new or odd things. He would study those things until he had memorized all the critical information, then proudly voiced his mastery at Sunday dinners with the family. Josh loved animals, especially his dogs Valentina and Zooey. He loved family most of all.
His infectious smile and laugh, the way he could get people to hum a song all day after he sang the first few bars was uncanny. He mimicked cartoon characters and didn’t hesitate to mimic family members.
Though he didn’t have kids of his own he was a father figure to the children of friends and especially to his nieces and nephews. We were all incredibly blessed to know Josh, to call him Uncle, Grand Uncle, Brother, Son and Grandson. He had an incredible testimony of Jesus Christ and knew, as does his family, that we will all be reunited after our earthly lives are over.
“The only way to take sorrow out of death is to take love out of life.” (Russell M. Nelson)
