Josh Branch

Josh Branch, age 24, of Appleton, died Sunday, July 5, 2009 near Hector. He was born November 26, 1984 at Russellville, was an electrical technician for the Home Theater Store, was a graduate of the Hector High School and attended the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. He was a member of the Hatley Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Penny Barkley. Survivors include his father, Frank Branch of Appleton; his step-father, Michael Barkley of Dover; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Jerrod and Megan Branch, currently serving in the military in Norfolk, Virginia; and Heath Barkley and Eric Barkley, both of Dover; and his grandparents: Jerry and Mary Branch of Appleton; Bill and Wanda Gray of Appleton; and Norman and Nancy Barkley of Dover. The funeral service will be at 10 A.M. on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the Jerusalem Church of Christ, officiated by Mr. Bill Roderick and the Rev. Randall Williams. Burial will be in Appleton Cemetery, by Shinn Funeral Service. Active pallbearers will be Parker Gray, Kenny Gray, Mark Melton, Tony Melton, TJ Lay and Ryan Squires. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Vincent and Jason Vincent. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, from 5 to 7 P.M., at the funeral home.
