Joshua Bell

Joshua Bell, age 68, was born on April 3, 1957, in Homerville, Georgia, to Cleveland and Claudia Mae Bell. Joshua was preceded in death by both of his parents.
He was raised in St. Augustine, Florida, where he graduated from St. Augustine High School in 1974.
In 1976, Joshua welcomed his only daughter, Chrisaun Francis of Jacksonville, Florida. In 1979, he relocated to Springfield, Massachusetts. During the mid-to-late 1980s, he worked at Belchertown State School for approximately ten years. After leaving Belchertown, Joshua returned briefly to St. Augustine, Florida, before settling again in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he began his training as a painter, a trade that would become his lifelong profession. He worked with pride alongside the members of the Painters and Allied Trades DC35. He eventually became an independent contract painter.
Joshua enjoyed traveling, fishing, grilling, dancing, playing his lottery numbers, relaxing while watching his favorite shows on TV Land, and entertaining his family and friends. He was known for his affable nature, easygoing spirit, and the joy he found in spending time with those he loved.
He leaves to cherish loving memories his life partner, Marcia Johnson, and her family, with whom he shared a deep bond and played an integral role in their lives: Tara Malissa Johnson of Springfield, Massachusetts, Aja (Cedric) St. Val of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Darius King of Springfield, Massachusetts. He is also survived by her grandchildren, Tajmah'nae Lewis, Quentin St. Val, Ava St. Val, and a great-granddaughter, Sevyn Heiress Riley. Joshua was preceded in death by his siblings Herbert Bell and Benjamin Bell. He is survived by his siblings, all residing in St. Augustine, Florida: Jeremiah Bell, James Bell, Mae Ollie Bell, Elizabeth Bell, Ronnie Bell, Jerome Bell, Brenda Bell, and Sandra Bell of Springfield, Massachusetts.
He also leaves behind one granddaughter, Brianna Williams, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Joshua Bell will be remembered for his dedication to his craft, his love of family, and the warmth he brought into the lives of all who knew him.
