Joshua Timothy Davis, age 27, passed away on December 1, 2024. He was born on January 22, 1997. Josh loved anything to do with outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping or piddling in his shop. He was known for having every gadget possible for any of those activities. If you needed it, Josh had it. His shop was his favorite place, and he could be found there every day tinkering with something or hanging out with his boys whom he loved dearly. 

Josh is survived by his wife, Shayna Hewitt Davis; sons, Anderson Justin Walker, Daniel Rhett, Joshua Ellis and Westin Gunner; mother and step-father, Missy and Mickey Lewis; brother, Jacob (Emily) Davis; sisters, Annabelle Lewis and Ruby (David) Smith; mother-in-law, Felecia Hewitt; sister-in-law, Regan Hewitt; maternal grandparents, James Larry and Reginia Dobbs; paternal grandmother, Linda Bracknell; aunts and uncles, Laurie and Joe Davis, Joey and Misty Dobbs, Brad and Erin Dobbs, Ricky and Kim Lewis, Chris and Amber Lewis and Ron Davis; nieces and nephews, Jaxon Stearns, Sophie Stearns, Mariella Davis, Clay Herrod, Zach Smith, Lyla Smith, Nathan Smith, and Adam Smith and a host of cousins with two very special cousins, Matthew Smyly and Curtis Christian.

Josh was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Ellis Davis; brother, Elijah Lewis; Father-in- law, Anderson Hewitt; grandparents, Hugh Ronnie and Melody Davis; and Aunt, Susan Bedgood.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma. Interment will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Davis, Matthew Smyly, Curtis Christian, Reid Smitherman, Justin "Bubba" Blackmon, and DeWayne Fowlkes. Honorary pallbearers will be Walker Davis, Rhett Davis, Ellis Davis, Gunner Davis and Jaxon Stearns.
