Andy Naramore Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Andy Naramore our beloved husband, father, Paw-Paw, and friend to so many. Andy Owen Naramore passed away March 9, 2026 at the age of 82. He was born in Jasper, Alabama July 23, 1943 to the late Claude Naramore and Rebecca Mills Naramore.
Andy served as a Walker County Commissioner in the 1980’s – 1990’s and continued in Various other aspects of Politics for many years after. Upon retirement he enjoyed lots of Golf with friends and lake life with his wife and family. He never missed an Alabama football game unless one of his grandsons had a sporting event – the ONLY thing that outweighed the Crimson Tide.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Margie Alvalee Naramore (Arthur) Watson, Alvis Eugene Naramore, Thomas Alton Maramore, Columbus Alvin "Bull" (Dolores) Naramore and Archie Angelo Naramore
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Saundra Naramore; children, Taunia (Brett) Scott; grandchildren, Trey (Lauren Gordon) Ousley and Trenton Ousley; great-grandaughter, Sophia Claire Ousley.
No funeral services are scheduled at this time.
When you mention his name the two consistent things people say are “He was the nicest guy” and “He made the best ribs”!!!! His kindness and sweet soul will be forever missed.
