He is preceded in death by grandparents, Reverend Ralph and Cora Loy Beason and Reverend Jack and Betty Webster Day. Joshua is survived by wife, Renee Shope Day; his "Little Loomp", Alexis Tannous; mother and stepfather, Melissa Sharlene Beason Hensley and David Turk; father and stepmother, Jack and Kelli Primm Day; sisters, Alicia Day (Vernon) Dunn and Shelby Day (Coty) Vannoy; niece, Amelia Jade Dunn; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to his IR Girls at NKMC.
The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service to follow with Reverend Daniel Beason officiating. Josh and I were friends for over 20 years. We worked together for several years, and continued to talk and laugh about those days for years afterwards. He was one of the biggest hearted people I´ve ever known, he wasn´t just a friend my family considered him family. I´ll miss my brother deeply and the conversations and laughs we shared through the years. Football Saturday's want be the same without being able to discuss it with him. I cant say goodbye, because I´ll see my friend again. So until then rest easy buddy.
