Joshua Eakin Obituary
He was born July 1, 1978, in Williamsburg, Virginia, the son of Sherry Lee Eakin and his stepfather Jessie Frank Ayers.
Josh was formerly employed as a carpenter.
He loved music, beer, spending time with family, yard work, and old movies.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his grandmother, Joyce Tyler of Staunton, daughter, Amber Nicole of Chesterfield County; 2 grandchildren; and uncles: Ronald Eakin and Robert Eakin, Jr. of Staunton.
He was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Eakin, Jr.; a brother, Justin Ayers; an uncle, Maxey Puckett; grandfathers: Robert Eakin, Sr. and Keith Tyler.
A private memorial service will be conducted at Craigsville Community Cemetery with Pastor Claudette Wilcher officiating.
