Joshua Etheridge Obituary
Joshua was born on February 2, 1984, in Macon, Georgia to Luke Timothy Etheridge, Sr. and Lizbeth Altman Etheridge. He grew up in Macon, where he attended high school. He went on to become a millwright, which he has done since he was 18. This took him to several exciting jobs starting with B&D Industrial for 15 years, Lewis-Goetz for seven years, and finally, Interfor in Perry for the last year, all of which he spent his time as an industrial mechanic. His biggest accomplishment was being a husband, father, and grandfather as family was always his main priority. He loved his wife and children wholly and unconditionally. The life of the party, Joshua was goofy, carefree, and could always be found smiling, laughing, and cutting jokes. His happy demeanor also lent to him being a selfless friend; he would drop anything to help someone in need. In his free time, Joshua could be found golfing, hunting, fishing, or shooting. His presence will be deeply missed by his loved ones.
Joshua’s father, Luke Timothy Etheridge, Sr., preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Sarah Etheridge; children, Hunter Lane (Kamrynn McElmurray), Joshua Clayton Johnson (Behak Osteen), Matthew Etheridge, Kolton Etheridge, and Ali Etheridge; grandchildren, Miracle Osteen, Karsyn Lane, and Ricky Johnson; mother, Lizbeth Etheridge, and siblings, Tim Etheridge, Jr. (Misty), and Khristayle Etheridge.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Joshua Etheridge to the family’s GoFundMe at https://gofund.me/82590493/.
