Josh Gardo
Joshua Robert Gardo, 27, of Easley, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Born in Greenville County, he is the son of Lee and Michelle Gardo of Easley.
Josh was a 2016 graduate of Easley High School, where he played baseball and football. He was also a 2022 graduate of The College of Charleston and a 2024 graduate of the South Carolina Fire Academy. He was a firefighter with the Gantt Fire Department, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. He loved riding motorcycles, golfing, snowboarding, spending time with his friends and with his dog, Chloe.
Surviving are his parents, Lee and Michelle; his brothers, Justin Gardo (Kayla) and Jarrod Gardo; a niece, Adalee Gardo; grandparents, Jerry Gardo of Easley and Faye Bell of Liberty; and uncles, Randall Bell (Lisa) and Shane Bell (Jessica), all of Easley.
Josh was predeceased by his grandmother, Sue Gardo, and grandfather, Terry Bell.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29642, with a service to celebrate Josh’s life starting at 3:00 PM in the church’s chapel. Burial will be in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29640, or to a charity of one’s choice.
The family will be at the home.
