Joshua Scott Huskins

Joshua Scott Huskins, 43, of Erwin passed away unexpectedly on Saturday November 1st at his residence. He was the son of Leasa Smith, also of Erwin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Florence Huskins; an uncle, Alvin Walker; an aunt, Jan Huskins; cousins, Robbie Huskins, Ronnie Huskins, and Nicholas Williams.
Joshua was an artist at heart. He enjoyed music, playing guitar, anything to do with the Arts. He had a lot of fun attending comic con and met several fascinating people. He was a former tattoo artist but was currently working as a security guard for AO Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Leasa Smith and faithful companion Lily Munster; uncles, Darrell Huskins and Ricky Huskins (Michelle); an aunt, Elizabeth Janie Williams; cousins, Kristy Walker, Chad Walker (Mary), Samantha Agner (Joel), Ben Williams, Jason Huskins, Amber Huskins (Josh); his best friends, Nick Boings, Rachel Hendricks, Leigh Sasnowitz, and Amy Whitson as well as several other family members and friends.
A service to honor Joshua's memory will be held at Valley Funeral Home Saturday November 8th, 2025 at 1 pm with Pastor Todd Mclaughlin officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 am until the hour of service. A graveside service will follow in the family cemetery on Canah Hollow. Pallbearers will be chosen from family and friends.
In lieu of flowers there is a donation fund at Clinchfield Credit Union to help the family with services.
