Mary Ann Phillips Biggs of Clio, Michigan went home to be with her Savior at 85 years old on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 shortly after the passing of her son, Danny Franklin Biggs. She was born to the late Suil Phillips and Julia (Edwards) Phillips. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Biggs; a granddaughter, Anna Biggs; and a great granddaughter, Ava Wagers

Mary Ann loved the Lord; she was a member of Clio Assembly of God, she cleaned the church for many years. Mary Ann worked as the activities director at a nursing home for 10 years. Mary Ann was proud of her family and loved them very much, she had a special place in her heart for her dog, Cookie. She enjoyed spending time with those that she loved. She could often be found working in her flower bed. Her favorite thing to do was read. She loved books.

Those left to cherish Mary Ann's memory are her daughter, Elizabeth Ehrmantraut (Greg); son, David Biggs; grandchildren, Christina Wharton, David Biggs, Julie Rogers, Carly Ehrmantraut, Grace Ehrmantraut, and Allie Ehrmantraut; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Sam Phillips; sister in law, Loretta Ollis; as well as several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers and staff of Serenity Assisted Living in Clio, Michigan for the love and care during Mary Ann's time with them.

A graveside service will be held on Friday March 13th, 2026 at Evergreen Cemetery (mausoleum)at 1:00 pm with Pastor Art Gibson officiating. Loretta Ollis and Hope Fregoso will be singing to honor the life of Mary Ann. Active pallbearers will be Aaron Ollis, Paul Ollis, Juan Fregoso, Mari Fregoso, Josue Fregoso, and Crecencio Ortiz. Those that would like to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Valley Funeral Home at 12:30 to go in procession to the cemetery.

The service will be to celebrate the lives of both Mary Ann Biggs and her son, Danny Franklin Biggs.

The staff of Valley Funeral home are honored to serve the family of Mary Ann Biggs.
