Joshua Julian Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Nicoles Funeral Home on Nov. 21, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Joshua Anthony Julian, age 49, of Ephrata, WA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on

November 13, 2025, following a tragic car accident.

Josh was born in 1976 in Orange, California, and spent much of his early years in Grand

Coulee and Ephrata, Washington, where he was raised by his loving parents, Debbie and

Suvicharn Piturachsatit, and Tom Julian. A cherished older brother, Josh shared a special

bond with his siblings, Joy and Justin, in a home that valued hard work, family, and service

to others. Together, they spent countless hours helping out in the family-owned

restaurants-waiting tables, doing dishes, and creating memories, like the time Josh and

Joy made Justin drink Tabasco sauce.

Josh graduated from Ephrata High School in 1994 and continued his education at Big Bend

Community College. His journey of faith led him to Dallas, TX, where he attended Christ For

The Nations Institute (CFNI), earning a degree in pastoral studies. It was there that he met

the love of his life, Ashley, whom he married in September 1999. Their union became the

foundation of an incredible family, and together, they raised four beautiful children:

Katelyn, Jocelyn, Sophia, and Jett. To Josh, his children were the joy of his life - his pride, his

legacy, and the motivation behind everything he did. He was a devoted husband, a

nurturing father, and a best friend who created a loving home filled with laughter, warmth,

and unwavering support.

Josh's life was marked by a heart for service, a deep faith, and a constant pursuit of helping

others. From his early days as a youth pastor in Grand Coulee, WA, to serving as a young

adult pastor at Overlake Christian Church in Redmond, WA, he led with compassion,

humility, and integrity. Whether in ministry or business, he made an impact. As a restaurant

owner in Quincy, WA, and later as a Territory Manager for US Foods, Josh's dedication to

excellence and service to others never wavered. His genuine care for people-whether

customers, colleagues, family, or friends-was always evident in the way he lived his life.

Above all, Josh's love for Jesus Christ was the guiding force in all he did. He was a

passionate worshiper, a prayer warrior, and a man whose life was dedicated to living out his

faith. His personal relationship with God fueled his desire to serve others, and he found joy

in offering an encouraging word or a helping hand whenever possible. His life was a living

testimony of the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Josh is survived by his loving parents, Debbie and Suvicharn Piturachsatit, and Tom Julian;

his beloved wife, Ashley; his four children, Katelyn, Jocelyn, Sophia, and Jett; his siblings,

Joy Piturachsatit and Justin (Tanya) Piturachsatit; his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles,

cousins, in-laws, and a host of dear friends. His absence leaves a deep hole in the hearts of

all who knew him, yet his legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to inspire and guide

us. In the midst of our grief, we hold fast to the faithfulness of God, trusting that from these

ashes, beauty will arise.

A memorial service to celebrate Josh's life will be held at Bethlehem Chapel in Ephrata, WA

on November 29, 2025, at 11:00 am, followed by a small reception. We invite all who knew

Josh to join us in honoring his life and legacy.
