A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana, Terry was born in Warsaw on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1947, to Ruth Janette (Snyder) Julian and Raymond Jay Julian. He was a 1965 graduate of Warsaw High School, and enlisted in the U.S. Marines on April 21, 1966, and was honorably discharged.
Terry married the love of his life, Lucinda Rae Stouder, on December 20, 1969. They were blessed with having celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary last month. He was a hard-working man his entire life, having worked and retired from Zimmer in Warsaw as a tool and die maker, retiring after 31 years. Terry was a talented carpenter, great with his hands and had an eye for detail that he built his first house with his wife assisting him. Over the years he built apartments as well. He enjoyed a good day on the golf course and more than anything he dearly loved his family. No matter what, Terry was a positive and happy person, who could make others feel better simply because he always had a smile on his face. The sound of his daily whistling will be missed but that is only one of many wonderful and fond memories he leaves behind.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lucinda Rae Julian (Warsaw, IN); two sons, Cord (Alycia) Julian (Winona Lake, IN); Jason Julian (Etna Green, IN); eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and his brother, Max (Evelyn) Julian (Warsaw, IN). He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Chandra Damon in 2016.
Terry's life will be celebrated with a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeifer. Military rites will be conducted by member of the American Legion Post #49 and the V.F.W. #1126 both of Warsaw as well as active-duty members of the Marine Honor Guard. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
