Joshua Adam Kelbaugh, 29, of Hagerstown, Md passed away unexpectantly on the morning of August 4, 2025.

Joshua was born December 16, 1995 in WV. He was a 2014 graduate of South Hagerstown High School where he played football for the Rebels.

Joshua was a down-to-earth, fun loving guy who never met a stranger; he found great pleasure in helping anyone in need and would give the best hugs ever.

He enjoying playing video games online and played Pokemon GO since the day it was released. He enjoyed putting puzzles together with family and friends and assembling and painting models automobile kits.

He enherited a RC racing sprint car after his maternal grandfather's passing, that he immensely enjoyed. On any given day, you could find Joshua listening and singing to the music of Jelly Roll; he enjoyed watching Duck Dynasty, Futurama and Alaskan Bush People.

He had a way with all animals in that it seemed they trusted him completely and he got great pleasure from that trust.

Joshua lovingly leaves behind his mother, Annette Lynn Kelbaugh of Hagerstown Md, his father, Randy Lee Kelbaugh and spouse, Jessica, of Hagerstown, Md and his daughter, Nila Jamila Kelbaugh of Hagerstown, Md.

He had 3 brothers; Jon W Fowler of Martinsburg, WV, Matthew D Fowler and Daniel L Kelbaugh, both of Hagerstown, MD; maternal grandmother, Ruth V Carpenter, of Falling Waters, WV, his maternal uncle, Leonard E Carpenter Jr, and spouse Rose, of Hedgesville, WV. He had 3 nieces and 3 nephews all of Hagerstown, MD;

He left an endurable mark on every soul he ever made contact with during his short life.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Leonard E Carpenter, Sr and maternal uncle Lawrence R Carpenter both of Falling Waters, WV and his paternal grandparents, Joanne and Mike Kelbaugh of Hagerstown, MD.

A celebration of life will be held privately for family and friends and will be announced at a later date.

Joshua will be truly and deeply missed, and our loss is God's gain.
