Joshua Trace Manning, 37, of Golden, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2025. Born on November 6, 1987, in Kaufman, Joshua was the beloved son of his mother Debra Sue (Marrs) Turner and father, Richard Turner.

Joshua proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty and loyalty. Known for his vibrant personality, Joshua was a ray of sunshine to everyone who knew him - the life of the party with a heart as big as Texas. He was always willing to lend a hand, lift a spirit, or share a laugh.

A devoted father, Joshua's greatest treasure was his children- Jett Manning, Ariella Manning, and Elijah Manning - more than anything. He was a true family man whose love extended to his siblings, Joel Gibson, Nikki Manning Lovett, and husband Kenny, Johnna Rodriguez and Miguel, Jordan Turner, and Jacob Turner and wife Jayde. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends, including his close-knit military brothers-in-arms.

Joshua was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford and Gladys Marrs, Bill and Sue Reed, and William Turner.

A family-led memorial service honoring Joshua's life will be held on at 3:00 pm Friday, October 3, 2025, at Mercy River Fellowship in Greenville, Texas.

Joshua will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kindness, strength, humor, loyalty and unwavering love for his family and friends.
