Joshua Short, also known as "Wop" to his family and closest friends. Joshua was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Joshua took his last breath and was sent home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2025, at the age of 28. He was surrounded by his loving family. He leaves a legacy of love, strength, and quiet wisdom that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Joshua was kind, funny and always had something funny to say to make others, laugh and smile. Born on September 26, 1996, in Akron, Ohio. Joshua is proceeded in death by his brothers, TJ, baby Michael, grandparents, Goldie and Marie. Joshua is survived by his loving wife, Gia Alexis Hernandez, mother Crystal M. Campbell, father Michael B. Short, brothers Ryan (Katie) Strausser, Shaun Short, Jace Short. Sisters, Ashlie Ingram, Krystalin Short, and his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday July 14, 2025 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 East Market Street), where funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00PM
