Joshua Solano

Joshua Lee Solano, 44, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away on November 6, 2025, in Greeley. He was born on May 25, 1981, in Greeley, Colorado, to Rojelio Ybarra and Francis Solano.
Joshua was a proud Colorado native who spent his entire life surrounded by family and friends. He was known for his outgoing personality, quick wit, and great sense of humor. Joshua loved bringing people together-especially around food. He was an incredible cook, best known for his legendary hot wings, deep-fried turkey, and famous egg rolls. His passion for cooking came from his mother, and he loved nothing more than sharing his creations with others.
On Sundays during football season, Joshua could always be found cheering loudly for his beloved Raiders, proudly waving his flag and making sure everyone knew they were the greatest team.
He is survived by his children, Joshua Solano Jr., Janelle Solano, Jayna Solano, and Jordan Solano; his mother, Frances; his siblings, Francine Ybarra and Rojelio Ybarra Jr.; and a large extended family and many dear friends who will miss him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rojelio Ybarra, and his sister, Cassandra Ybarra.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at Victory Outreach Church in Greeley, Colorado.
