Joshua Tinley Obituary
Joshua Lee Tinley, 47, entered into rest Thursday, October 16, 2025. He was born in Richmond County and has been a longtime resident of Burke County. He was self employed as a contractor and was an avid outdoorsman. Joshua was a member of McBean Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Tinley; maternal grandparents, Rufus and Betty Lee; and paternal grandparents, George and Jeanette Tinley.
He is survived by a son, Cody Tinley of Patrick, SC; a granddaughter, Willow Tinley; his mother, Terri Lee of Waynesboro; two brothers, Jeremy Tinley (Olivia) of Waynesboro, and Robert Tinley of Saybrook, CT; a nephew, Jeremy Tinley, Jr. of Waynesboro; and two nieces, Kayla Tinley of Waynesboro, and Autumn Tinley of Saybrook, CT.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, October 20 at the funeral home.
