It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce that Josh has departed this earthly life. Josh’s soul found peace on May 22, 2025, at Tacoma General Hospital.
Josh was born June 15, 1984, in Clear Lake, TX and moved at the age of 4 to Port Orchard, WA with his mother, Shannon and brother, Trey. Josh attended Grapeview Elementary School and North Mason High School before starting his career in construction.
Josh had many interests that began with playing baseball, backpacking, camping, and snowboarding. Later his interests became woodworking, working on vehicles, bicycling and disc golf.
Josh leaves behind his wife, Jennifer Williams and stepchildren Abygael Swaim, Izaiah Swaim, and Kalea Young; his mother, Shannon Dollar and stepfather, Thomas Dollar; and his niece, Tessa Brackin; and his uncle Blair Gladden and wife Elle.
Josh was preceded in death by his father, Mark Williams; his brother Trey Brackin; his maternal and paternal grandparents; his aunt Kim Cassidy, and aunt Valerie Bizier.
Josh had an easy-going nature with a caring heart and would go out of his way to help others. Josh’s smile and sense of humor were contagious. Josh will always live on in our hearts.
