Tim Hird was born August 25, 1961, in Harbor City, CA to Robert Hird and Joan Hird. Tim passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, at the age of 64. He attended EPO Elementary, Cedar Heights Jr. High and graduated from South Kitsap High School.
Tim was a Carpenter and contractor who built beautiful homes as well as gorgeous additions and remodels. He loved the water, where he would fish or just sit and enjoy the view. Tim traveled across most of the United States over the years but always ended up back home in Port Orchard.
He loved his family and friends, and his loving dog Gator. He was an animal lover and loved the outdoors, camping, riding both bicycles and motorcycles.
Tim was preceded in death by his father Robert Hird. He is survived by his mother Joan Hird, his son Teighler Hird, his sister Darlene Coon (Sammy), brother Thomas Hird (Jo Anna) and sister Teresa Hird. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, and his very dear friend Charlene Fowler.
Tim fought a courageous battle. There will be no service, and the family asks in Lieu of flowers that donations may be made to the Cancer Research Institute.
