Josie enjoyed gardening, antiquing and spoiling her grandchildren.
Josie is survived by her husband, Daniel Saldaña; sons, Daniel, Jr. and Cheryl Saldaña, Mark and Andrea Saldaña; daughter, Marta Saldaña; grandchildren, Mark Anthony and Hannah Saldaña, Daniel G. Saldaña, Isabelle Barbee, and Josephina Saldaña; sisters, Ann and Bill Kremer, Yvonne and Erich Blake; brothers, Crespin, Jr. and Oralia Lara, James and Paula Lara, and Paul and Barbara Lara. Along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 at Bethel Christian Center with Pastor Ferril Gallaway officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 6:00pm. Service will be streamed on the Bethel Christian Center of Durham North Carolina's youtube channel beginning at 6:45 PM.
Plants are acceptable or memorial donations may be made to Bethel Christian Center: 3518 Rose of Sharon Rd. Durham, NC 27712 or American Cancer Society: 4140 Parklake Ave. Suite 515, Raleigh, NC 27612.
