Jovita Victorio Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cypress Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park from Nov. 9 to Nov. 16, 2023.
Jovita Junio Victorio, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, was born in Buenlag, Pangasinan, Philippines, on December 3rd, 1954, to Bartolome and Victoriana Junio. She was the youngest of 10 siblings, including Francisca, Felimon, Anastacio, Ceiling, Rodolfo, Alfredi, Ligaya, Elma, and Bebot several of whom preceded her in death.
Jovita attended Westmoor High School in Daly City, where she graduated in 1973. She went on to work in the banking industry, dedicating many years of her life to Bank of America until her retirement at the age of 56.
On January 11, 1976, Jovita married Florante Victorio in Bayambang, Pangasinan, Philippines, and together they built a beautiful family. They were blessed with two children, Joseph and Janelle, who, in turn, gifted them with five precious grandchildren: Jonah, Nateo, Lily, Jaxton ( who preceded her in death), and Calliope.
Jovita's presence will be fondly remembered for her sense of humor and a powerful voice that could fill any room. She had a natural talent for keeping her home impeccably clean, always ensuring a warm welcome for vistors. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore the world on cruises with her loving husband. She cherished moments spent with her children and took great joy in caring for her grandchildren. Jovita eagerly anticipated spending time with her surviving brother, Rodolfo, and sister-in-law Librada.
Jovita's life was marked by her incredible strength and resilience. She faced and overcame considerable challenges, and her family served as her unwavering motivation. In her final moments, Jovita passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving husband, children, brother, and sister-in-law.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Jovita's legacy of love, laughter, and strength will be cherished and celebrated by all who had the privilege of sharing in her life's journey.
