Joy E. McGraw, age 80, of Brunswick Hills, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024. She was born on September 15, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Henry and Estelle (Kasperski) Schofield. Joy graduated from Notre Dame High School in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked for Dollar Bank for many years. She enjoyed planting flowers in her front yard. Joy was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Parish in Brunswick.
She is preceded in death by her parents, youngest son, Don (DJ) Lang, sister and brother-in law, Beverly and John Makcen, and brother, Gary Schofield.
Joy will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 34 years, John; children, Todd (Maria) Lang, and Dawn (David) Erne; 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Friends and family may come to call on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 5:00 pm -8:00 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish in Brunswick with Fr. Bob Stec officiating. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Valley City.
