Joy served as both a Cub Scout leader as well as a Girl Scout leader, and an active member of the PTA. She also gave 21 dedicated years working in Old Salem, where she received loving kinship and support from her many dear friends over the years.
In addition to her parents, Joy was preceded in passing by her husband, Samuel Linville Reich.
