Joyce Affinito Obituary
Joyce has lived in Rostraver for the past 43 years and was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church. She had been employed at the service desk at Kmart for 28 years, retiring in 2005. Joyce especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Steeler fan and enjoyed going to Pitt Panther football games. Joyce enjoyed traveling to casinos in Seneca Niagara, traveling to Bethany Beach, Las Vegas and Niagara Falls, and taking family trips.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard Affinito; three daughters, Melissa Tietze of N. Belle Vernon, Nikki Affinito of McKeesport, and Lisa (Mike) Eliou of North Hills; four grandchildren, Jessica (Eric Hill) Larose of New Eagle, Jeremy (Kayra) Tietze of Rostraver, Nicholas (Brittany) Steck of McKees Rocks, and Chelsea (Spencer) Stout of West Mifflin, and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Sam Suppa Jr. and a sister, Josephine Argirakis.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A blessing will be held on Monday at 12:30 P.M. in the funeral home with Father Michael Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
