Joyce Helene (Huguet) Alsteen passed away peacefully at home in Denmark, WI with her family by her side on May 24, 2025. She was born in Allouez, WI on March 10, 1940 to the late Lillian and Marcel Huguet.
Joyce loved spending time with her family. She had a passion for gardening, driving around looking at the clouds and leaves in the fall, shopping, and enjoyed playing and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
At a young age, Joyce married the late William H Menne and had 4 children that she loved very much. Later on in life, Joyce married the late James W Alsteen. Joyce is survived by her children William, Laurie, Eva, and Barb (Kevin) and her stepchildren Julie, Christine, Ken, Dan, and Nick. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jessica, Kristina, Holly, Nicolle (Jason), Tyler (Miranda), and Toni (Dustin) and 3 great grandchildren Anthony, Annabelle, and Boone and many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Joyce is also survived by brothers Jay, Paul, Jim, and sister Ellen. She is preceded in death by her parents and 6 of her siblings Mary, Rodney, David, Ann, Peter, and John. She also is survived by her best friend Clara, who she enjoyed spending time with.
The family wishes a special thank you to Moments Hospice for their compassion and care during her last few weeks, especially Katelyn and Morgan. Their compassion and support will not be forgotten.
A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Joyce's life at a later date.
