Joyce Holland Batchelor, 79, of Middlesex passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 20, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Joyner’ Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Rev. Johnny Sullivan and Rev. Hal Jones will officiate.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home.
Joyce was a wonderful person that loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, they brought her much joy. She served her Lord faithfully, loved her church family and gospel music. Joyce will be greatly missed and thought of often with memories that will bring smiles.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband of sixty-two years, Donald Ray Batchelor; children, Kim Murray and husband, Steve and their children, Tara Cameron and husband, Jule, Lyndsay Murray, Tyler Murray and wife, Jordan; Michelle Rosamond and husband, Steve and their children, Meagan Presnell and husband, Scott, and Slade Rosamond; Melody Woodruff and husband, Troy and their children, Taylor Hainey and husband, Dylan, Nolan Evans; and Brian Batchelor and wife, Lindsay and their children, Ella Batchelor, and June Batchelor; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Janie H. Crumpler and husband, Wayne, and Sandy H. Taylor and husband, Aubrey, and her brothers, Ray Holland and wife, Wanda, Danny Holland and wife, Susie, Donnie Holland and wife, Diana, Jackie Holland and wife, Candy, and Robby Holland and wife, Linda, and her sister-in-law, Patricia Holland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rupert and Lucille Holland, and her brother, Ronnie Holland.
