Joyce Beck Obituary
Joyce Lou Burden Beck, 85, of Bowling Green passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, October 17, 2025.
She was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Louise Horton Burden. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Andrea, Andrew and Lucas; three brothers, Norman, Wayne and Steve Burden; and one sister, Mildred Buckner. Joyce was an elementary school teacher and a member of Christian Fellowship Church. She enjoyed her family time, travel, fishing and camping.
Leaving to cherish her memory is her husband of 62 years Ernest Beck; four daughters, Cynthia Price (Anthony), Mildred Williams (Brian), Joyce Elaine Salvador (Ricky) and Janice Schutz (Jason); 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; 9 great- great grandchildren; two sisters, Faye Duke (Jim) and Mary Sue Morris (Wayne); three brothers, Harry Burden, Jr. (Carolyn), Kent Burden (Cindy) and Mark Burden (Christi) and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no service as the family will honor her wish for cremation. Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel is honored to serve the Beck Family.
The family request that donations be made in her memory to Buck Creek Baptist Church, 3788 US 431, Calhoun, Ky 42327
