Joyce Betros

Joyce P. Betros, 86 of Jackson New Jersey passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025. Born on March 18, 1939, in Staten Island, New York, to Isadore and Susan Aleksiak, Joyce was raised with strong family values and a kind heart. She graduated from Tottenville High School, Class of 1957, and soon began her career at General Foods, where she worked diligently for 24 years. Joyce met her husband, Ralph Betros, and they married in 1960. Together, they built a beautiful family and raised three children in Staten Island, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. After Ralph's passing, Joyce moved to New Jersey to live with her mother, where she continued to find joy and purpose, working at Toys 'R' Us and Babies 'R' Us. In her spare time, Joyce enjoyed quiet games of solitaire and lively card games with family and friends, and an occasional celebration with champagne. A passionate animal lover, she found comfort and companionship in the many pets she cared for over the years. Joyce is predeceased by her beloved parents, Isadore and Susan Aleksiak; her husband, Ralph; and her cherished daughter, Linda. She is survived by her daughter Lisa and her husband Kevin; her son Ralph and his wife Rose; her son-in-law Howard; her treasured grandchildren Kyla and her husband Robby, Sarah, Michael and his wife Kait, Heather, and Megan; and her adored great-grandchildren Logan and Harper. Joyce also leaves behind many beloved fur grand-babies who brought her joy and companionship. Her warmth, strength, and generous spirit will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.
