Joyce Boozer

Mrs. Joyce Ann Walker Boozer, 82, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. She was born June 24, 1943 in Arkansas to Donald and Winifred Rose Walker. Joyce was a devoted homemaker and loved being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals for those she loved. In her younger years, she enjoyed 4-wheeling and mud riding with friends. She was a member of the Grenada Church of God.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service. Private burial will follow in the Elliott Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include four sons, Joe Darrell Boozer(Karina) of Grenada, James Alvin Boozer, Jr.(Tonya) of Marshall, AR, Jeremy David Boozer of Grenada and Austin Boozer of Houston, TX; three sisters, Donna Hendrix of Wynne, AR, Debbie Wright of Heber Springs, AR and Patricia Clark; three brothers, David Walker of Little Rock, AR, Sam Barkley and Ricky Barkley; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Alvin Boozer, Sr.; and two sons, Jeffrey Ronald Boozer and Jesse Eugene Boozer.
