Joyce Darlene Bradley, age 85, born on October 27, 1939, in Cardin, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family in Grove, Oklahoma. Joyce dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Joyce worked as a waitress, where her warmth and care touched many. She was recognized not only for her work but also for her creative spirit, which she expressed through her love of arts and crafts. Joyce enjoyed bowling, fishing with her husband, and traveling with her family, creating cherished memories along the way. She fulfilled her bucket list when she went to Hawaii last year. Although, taking care of her family was her highest priority.
Joyce was an active member of the Assembly of Wyandotte church alongside her husband before his passing in 2013, Joyce found great joy and community in her faith, recently attending the COS church of the shepherd. Her personality shone brightly through her commitment to family, her enthusiastic pursuits, and her unwavering love for those around her.
Joyce is survived by her beloved children, Dona Beehler, Sandy Stephenson and her husband Gary, Joyla Stone and her husband Jeff, Gary Bradley and his wife Vicky, "Billy" Bradley and his wife Cyndi. She leaves behind a legacy of love through 28 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren and 36 great-great grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Earl Hattery and Nancy "Asalee" (Gibson) Hattery, her husband Wayne Bradley, and four children: Cheryl Benton, Milton Newberry, Jr., Brenda Burris, and Patricia Bradley, and four siblings, Herbert Lawson, Betty Cutbirth, Earlene Allen, and Russell Hattery.
A visitation to honor Joyce's life will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home located at 711 S Main St, Grove, OK 74344. The funeral service will take place the following day, Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the COS church of the shepherd, located at 1600 Har-Ber Rd, Grove, OK 74344. Joyce will be laid to rest in the Fairland Cemetery in Fairland, Oklahoma
The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Comforting Hands Hospice for their compassionate care during Joyce's final moments. We are especially thankful for the loving care her great granddaughter Shyane gave to her grandmother in our time of need. Joyce Darlene Bradley will be deeply missed and remembered for her selfless nature, vibrant spirit, and the love she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
