Joyce Elaine (Knotts) Brehm, 88, of Burlington died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, at Addington Place of Burlington.
Born April 2, 1936, in Burlington, to Philip and Agnes Knotts. She married Daniel Brehm in June 1954. They had three children, Kevin, Todd and Danette.
Joyce was always looking for ways to help people. She loved to travel, volunteered at Klein Center for numerous years with Daniel volunteering also. She loved her church, West Hill United Methodist, being a life long member. She loved her family and would have candy for anyone and everyone. She enjoyed life!
Joyce's family include her daughter, Danette (Todd) Brandstetter; daughter-in-law, Laura (Kevin-deceased) Brehm; four granddaughters, Erin (Tony) Jacobs, Gabrielle (Ryan) Van Dalen, Danielle (Brendan) Hill and Chantalle (Cody) Brown; and four great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Ava, Addelinn and Teagan.
Sadly, she was preceded in death be her parents; her husband; her two sons, Kevin and Todd; and three of her four siblings.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
Per the wishes of Daniel and Joyce, their ashes will be combined and interred at Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date. A private service will be held for them. To leave a memory or condolence, please visit www.prughfuneral.com.
