Joyce Dalton, age 84 of Canton, passed away Sunday morningAugust 31, 2025, in Aviva Hills Senior Living Center. She was born August 16, 1941, in Terra Alta West Virginia to Paul and Edna (Sypolt) Dixon. Joyce was a wonderful mother, wife and homemaker dedicated to raising her children and caring for others. She was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church.

Mrs. Dalton was preceded in death by her husband Edward D. Dalton in 2020. She is survived by children, Barry (Toni) Dalton, Teresa Dalton, Carmen (Mike) Neidert; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; brothers, Donald Sypolt, John (Rebecca) Dixon, Paul Dixon Jr. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sonya Dalton, grandson Mark Arrendale and granddaughter Amber Jorza.

The family will receive friends Thursday Sept. 4th 12-1:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home 504 West Maple St. Hartville followed by the funeral service. Burial will be in St. Jacob's Cemetery beside her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to American Kidney Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice of Uniontown for their wonderful care. A special thank you

to Miranda, her hospice nurse, for the compassionate care and genuine concern she always showed mom!

Additional thanks to Mindy, Bree, Shanise, Vonda, Tabitha, Kiwi, Allison and the rest of the memory care staff at Aviva Hills for their care of our mom.
