Joyce Dohl

Joyce Dohl, 83, of Berwick, died Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Bloomsburg.
Born May 20, 1941 in Ashley, PA, she was the daughter of the late Karl William and Laura Ethel (Forney) Dohl.
Having attended the Ashley public schools before moving to Old Bridge, NJ, she graduated from South River High School, South River, NJ, in 1959.
Joyce was employed at the First National Bank of South River, N.J. for 5 ½ years before moving to rural Berwick, where she was employed at the Columbia County Farmers National Bank until her retirement in 2008.
Joyce was a member of Evansville Community Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and held the offices of Secretary and Treasurer. She also enjoyed playing cards. Above all, she cherished spending time with her nieces, nephews, and large extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Earl William Dohl; and her sister, Beatrice Wolfe.
Surviving are two sisters: Betty Jean Dohl Keck Kline of Stillwater, and Agnes Dohl Keck of Berwick.
At the request of the deceased, services will be private.
Interment will be in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
