Mrs. Joyce Evans

Mrs. Joyce A. Evans was born on December 26, 1951 in Blytheville, Arkansas the daughter of J.W. Love and Willie Mae Echols. She passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at the age of 73 years.
Mrs. Evans was a resident of Saginaw Township. She was a member of Truevine Missionary Baptist Church. She was an employee of Saginaw Steering Gear Div. General Motors Corporation and Delphi until she retired. Joyce was a member of UAW Locals 699/Delphi 467. Some of her hobbies included shopping, going to the casino and traveling. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and volunteering with the grandparent program through Commission on Aging.
Mrs. Evans leaves three children to cherish her memory, Veronica D. Love, Cassandra Evans and Felicia Evans; five grandchildren, Darius L. Evans, Dra'Maris L. Stover, Cierra Evans, Charleea Vaughn and Floyd R. Buchanan III, all of Saginaw, MI; six great-grandchildren, D'Airrea L. Evans, D'arius L. Evans, Jr., Dayton J. Cross, Princeton L. Evans, Christian Clark and Bentli Washington; seven sisters, Cheryl Parrish, Ruth Cureton, Linda, Jennifer, Karen Love-Sconiers (Keith), Betty and Brenda; brothers, Michael and Robert Love; one aunt, Mayliza Cummings; two uncles, Isiah and Henry Love; sisters-in-law, Tarisha and Loretta Love; one brother-in-law, Keith Sconiers; a host of cousins other relatives and her "Circle of Sisters" Annie Cotton, Birler Southern, Wynita McClain, Johnnie Thomas, Gloria Blackwell, Patsy Willis, Dorothy Brewer and Catherine Clayton.

The Celebration of Life Homegoing Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Truevine Baptist Church, 2930 Janes Ave., Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Paul E. Broaddus will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the funeral home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4220 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
