Joyce Claire Frey

Joyce C. Frey, 90, of Latrobe, died on Aug. 25, 2025, at Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital. Born May 20, 1935, to Willard and Christine (Lydic) Reynolds, Mom was predeceased by her loving spouse, Paul "Gene" Frey; father-in-law, Paul Frey; mother-in-law, Helen (Edge) Frey Clawson; sisters-in-law, Maxine Frey and Carole Frey; brothers-in-law, Henry Frey and Harvey Goldstein; and nephew, Paul Goldstein. She is survived by her daughter, Denise and James Marts of Greensburg; son, Mark and Peggy Frey of Pinedale, WY; sister-in-law, Paula Goldstein of Mt. Lebanon; grandsons, Anthony G. (Mariah) Banks of North Huntingdon and Weston M. (Leah) Banks of Greensburg; granddaughter, Samantha (Chris) Thompson of Latrobe; niece, Stacey (Chris) Carson and their daughters, Alaina and Hattie of Michigan; and great-grandchildren, Asher and Brielle Banks, Gwen and Everett Banks, and Anna Thompson. Arrangements are being handled by THOMAS M. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY LTD., Blawnox, PA. A memorial service, followed by a luncheon, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church, 4463 Route 136, Greensburg, PA 15601.
