Joyce Adele Fricks Conally

Mrs. Joyce Adele Fricks Conally, age 83 of Dooley Drive, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at The Overlook Toccoa.
A daughter of the late Jim Jones Fricks and Grace Mae Head Fricks, she was born October 26, 1941 in Stephens County, Georgia where she had lived most of her life. She was a graduate of Toccoa High School and attended Piedmont College. Employed with Toccoa Clinic for a number of years and later with Stephens County Hospital as a medical transcriptionist, she was a diligent worker. She was a people person for sure and enjoyed hosting gatherings for her family and friends. Joyce had a servant heart and attitude and was involved in many of the church ministries at Tates Creek Baptist Church where she was a member and where she played the piano for the church. Her many hobbies included sewing, crafting, scrap booking, playing the piano, photography, and researching family and church history.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Charles Kenneth Houston, her second husband, Robert Morris Conally, son, Patrick Neil Houston and brother, Royce Fricks.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Van and Bobbie Houston of Eastanollee; daughter and son-in-law, Adele and Tod Little of Blythewood, South Carolina; son, Phil Conally of Pompano Beach, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Donald Jordan of Semmes, Alabama; grandchildren, Taylor (Kyle) London, Natalie (Griffin) Smith, Jessica (Samuel) Hess, Jessica (Nick) LeCroy, Kristen (Player) Chappell, Mia (Ethan) Masten, Hayden Conally and Samantha Jordan; great-grandchildren, Kreed and Krew London, Olivia Smith, Isaac Hess, Dahlia LeCroy, Thomas and Gracen Chappell and Carter and Scout Masten; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Linda Fricks.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 7, 2025, 2 p.m. at Tates Creek Baptist Church with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty, The Reverend Jeff Adams, and Mr. Mark Wilkinson officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Saturday at Tates Creek Baptist Church from 12:00 noon until the service time. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Toccoa City Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Joyce Fricks Conally.
