Joyce Gilbreath, 50, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Born and raised in Chattanooga, Joyce graduated from Tyner High School in 1993. Throughout her life, she was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the compassion she showed to everyone she met.

Joyce dedicated her career to caring for others. She was employed with Evergreen Life Services, supporting adults with intellectual disabilities. Her patience, understanding, and unwavering kindness touched countless lives-both those she cared for and those who worked alongside her. Joyce's warmth and generosity left a lasting impression on her family, friends, and community.

She will be remembered for her selflessness and her deep love for helping others.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Butch and Pauline Gilbreath, and nieces, Katriona and Keira.

She is survived by her brother, Steven Gilbreath (and sister-in-love Marsha); nieces and nephew, Keith, Katie, Kayla, Klarissa and Karmalita, as well as best friend, Carma.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home.

Joyce will be laid to rest in Concord Methodist Church Cemetery in Villanow, GA.
