Joyce M. Gutterman

Joyce Marilyn (Lewis) Gutterman, 81, beloved wife of Henry Gutterman, of Windsor, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024. Born in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Morris and Jenny Jean (Prosansky) Lewis, she was raised there and graduated from Commerce High School in Springfield. She was employed as a bookkeeper by the Pepsi Cola Company for many years before her retirement. She and her husband Henry were members of Congregation Shuvah Yisrael in Avon. Joyce enjoyed 10 Pin bowling and playing Mah Jong with her ladies' group for many years. Besides her husband Henry, she leaves her son Jeffrey Michael Gutterman and his wife Clara of Durham, NC; her daughter Jodi Michele Koivu and her husband Harri of FL; her grandchildren Harrison J. and Hannah A. Koivu; and her sister-in-law Sylvia N. Cheerman of Manchester. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 5, 2024, 2:30 PM in the Chapel of the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor, CT. Rabbi Paul L. Saal will officiate. Burial will follow in B'Nai Tikvoh-Shalom Cemetery, Windsor. Shiva will be observed after the burial with prayers at 7 PM and Tuesday thru Thursday with prayers at 7 PM at her late home in Windsor.
