Joyce was born January 10, 1948 in Bay City, Texas to Evelyn (Zapalac) and Lonis Orval Karm. She was a resident of Sinton since 2018 prior to living in Kingsbury area. Joyce worked formerly as an LVN employed by a nursing home in Palacios. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding in death are her husband: Herman Herbert Hebbe; daughter: Sonja Joyce Whitaker; son: Harlan Henry Hebbe; parents: Lonis and Evelyn Karm; infant brother: August Frank Gold; brothers: Lonis Orval Karm, Jr.; Roger Dale Karm; Carl Allan Gold; sister: Carol Jean Schmidt.
Survivors include her son: Herman Herbert "Rusty" Hebbe, Jr. (Agatha "Aggie") from Springfield, Virginia; daughter: Brenda Davis (Bob) from Sinton, Texas; 9 grandchildren: Andrew Kanade Hebbe, Christian Misaki Hebbe, Ethan Iori Hebbe, Madison Elaine Miller (Brett), Luke Austin Davis, Levi Edward Davis, Justin Clyde Whitaker, Elaine Faith Ruby and Haley Alexandra Beard; 3 great-grandchildren: Hayden Cooper Pearson, Kasey Elaine Pearson and Kyla Marie Whitaker; brother: Floyd Wayne Gold from Kerrville, Texas; sisters: Sharon Ylean Karm from Pearsall, Texas and Janet Rose Hahn (Paul) from Kerrville, Texas.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Graveside Service will take place, 11:00 AM, October 16, 2024 at Kingsbury Cemetery, Kingsbury, Texas.
