Joyce Hubble

1936 - 2023

Joyce Virginia (Fisher) Hubble, 87 of New Market, MD., departed this life to be with the lord on Thursday the 7th of September. Born June 19th, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Cora Fisher of Myersville. She was a member of Harmony Church of the Brethren most of her life. She was the loving wife of the late Winton Hubble, who passed away in Feb 2000 after 45 years of marriage, and mother of the late Karen Ann Poffinberger and the late Tammy Sue Paul.

Joyce was survived by two son-in-laws Terry Poffinberger of Middletown and Kenneth Lee Paul Sr. of Frederick, and one foster daughter, Wanda Scaletta of Frederick. Four Special grandchildren Andrea Poffinberger of Middletown MD., Aaron Poffinberger and wife Katelyn of Winchester, VA., Kenneth Paul Jr and wife Kathryn of Frederick MD., and Kayla Paul of New Market, MD. Eight great grandchildren; Wesley and Russell Paul of New Market, Mason, Brady, and Henry Poffinberger of Winchester VA., and Elise, Kenneth III, and Cassandra Paul of Frederick. Four sisters; Mary Wills of Frederick, Irene Delauter of Ohio, Phyllis Wills and husband Johnny of Frederick, Barbara Baugher and husband Richard of Walkersville.

She was preceded in death by brothers Charles Fisher, Henry Fisher, Ralph Fisher, George Fisher, Walter "Bub" Fisher, David Fisher and sisters Pauline (Fisher) Hausler, Dorothy (Fisher) Kline and Gloria Fisher.

Joyce will be missed dearly by many, especially her dear niece Patti Hawkins, niece Colby Hubble and special friends Bonnie and Punkie Easterday.

Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 20th and Thursday, September 21st at 10 a.m. services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 21 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens - 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy, Frederick, MD 21701.
