Joyce Eileen Jacks, 75, of Kirbyville, Texas passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024, in Beaumont, Texas, surrounded by loved ones. Services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 11:00 am at Gateway Tabernacle in Kirbyville with Bro. Danny Lewis officiating the ceremony under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville. Burial to follow at Trout Creek Cemetary. Visitation will begin at 10 am prior to service. Pallbearers: David Boughan, Scott Jacks, Daniel Jacks, Matthew Jacks, Bryce LeJeune, and Mark Baxter.
Joyce Eileen Jacks was born June 24, 1949, in Beaumont, Texas to Vollie and Katie Jacks. She grew up in Call, Texas with her parents and three siblings, who were all very close to one another. Joyce was a dedicated member of Gateway Tabernacle Church. Joyce worked hard while raising two sons until she was able to retire. After retirement Joyce enjoyed time with her family and beloved dogs. Joyce loved her kids and grandkids with all her heart. She taught them all about hard work, strong will, and faith in the Lord.
Joyce is survived by her brother Dale Jacks and wife Tammy, of Lufkin; sons Kirk Keith, of Vidor and Eric Keith, of Lumberton; grandchildren Lauren and husband Kevin Tate, of Lumberton, Olivia and husband Triston Poole, of Lumberton, Erica and husband Kaden Head, of Bridge City, Destiny and husband Bryce LeJeune, of Vidor, and Kameron Keith and wife Tristan, of Missouri; great-grandchildren Harper, Luxx, Tobius, Gideon, Rhettlynn, Dillan, and Aurelia; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Katie and Vollie Jacks, and siblings Carolyn Boughan and Gary Jacks.
