Joyce Elaine Kicklighter

Joyce Elaine (Wolfe) Kicklighter, 87, of Glasgow, formerly of Elkton, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the home of her daughter.

Mrs. Kicklighter was born on January 8, 1939, in Pennsylvania and was a daughter of the late Sidney Frank and Florence (Carl) Wolfe. She previously worked for Massanutten and Hampton Inn. She was a mom first, and her greatest joy came from raising her children and grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Kicklighter.

Joyce is survived by her son, George Edward Kicklighter, Jr., of Glasgow; daughters, Audrey Keyser of Elkton, Annette Hostetter of Glasgow, and Darla Hostetter of Elkton; sister, Diane Claypoole of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Wolfe, and sisters, Virginia Shankle and Lois Myers.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 2 p.m., at the Elk Run Cemetery, with Pastor B.J. Smith officiating.

There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home, and the casket will remain closed.
