Joyce Kline, 86, of Roslyn, PA, passed away at home with her daughter by her side on June 25, 2025. She was born in Abington, PA on October 11, 1938 to the late Thomas and Jennie (Schucker) Killeen. Joyce's absence will leave a deep ache in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a gentle soul with an open heart bringing joy to all around. Joyce was smart, creative, compassionate and had a wicked quick wit. She loved crafting, pottery, travel with her travel group known as the U-turns, country swing dancing, trivia at the VFW and game nights with friends. But Joyce's greatest love was for her family.. and if she called you friend, you were family. Joyce displayed a remarkable strength and resilience throughout her life, overcoming many obstacles... Giving up was never in her vocabulary. And she did it all with grace and a smile. She exuded warmth and empathy making her the perfect loyal confidant, and always having a shoulder to lean on when needed. Joyce had incredible advice and displayed the wisdom of Solomon.
Joyce worked as line leader at Swemco electronics until retiring against her wishes at age 78. The company moved and was now too far to drive. But her most important job, was mother to her daughter Kimmie. Her daughter referred to her as "her rock and best friend.". Joyce leaves a legacy of love and laughter in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her.
Joyce is survived by her daughter Kimberly Kline (Billy); sister Ruth Ann Hoose (Doug); many other loving family and friends; and her feline companions, Missy and Lady.
