Joyce Raye Kraai

Joyce Raye Roberdeau Kraai was born on July 20, 1946 in Aberdeen, SD. She was the daughter of Leo and Matilda (Milbrandt) Roberdeau. Joyce graduated from Doland High School in 1964.
Joyce was employed at Midland National Life, Lutheran Church of our Redeemer, Terrco, Human Service Agency, Team Electronics, GNC and most recently Department of Labor in Watertown.
Joyce enjoyed reading, crosswords, searching many things on the internet, watching her favorite TV programs and going out for coffee with many of her friends. Joyce (Sis) was the kindest, most caring person and everyone she met loved her immediately. She also had a big caring heart for her cat family.
Sis is survived by her mother, Matilda Roberdeau (102); sons, Bryan (Jackie) Richland, WA, Erik Kraai, St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Natallee, Drew, and Kylee, great grandchildren, Carolyn, Merrit, and Avyion; brother, Dan (Carole) Roberdeau, Sioux Falls, sister, Kathy (Todd) Alwin, Sioux Falls; nieces and nephews, Chanelle Hurkes (Mike), Sioux Falls, Nikki (Tony) Norton, Watertown, TJ Hurkes, Chris Roberdeau, Jen (Ken) Schelper, and a host of other relatives and friends,
She was preceded in death by dad, Leo Roberdeau, brother, Lon Roberdeau, granddaughter, Jillian and Favorite Pup Woogie.
A celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Lutheran Church of our Redeemer in Watertown, SD. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm with family present to greet friends.
