Bernard L. Kraai

Bernard L. Kraai, 76, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. He was born on August 30, 1948, in Lansing, MI, the son of the late Frank C. and Mary C. (Chambers) Kraai. Bernard earned an associate degree from Northern Michigan University. He was employed in manufacturing custom desktops prior to retiring. Bernard was a member of the International Space Elevator Consortium and the Northwoods Geology Club and had been attending Grace Covenant Church in Iron River. He was an avid rock hunter and spent many hours working on the space elevator project. Bernard is survived by his significant other, Sherry Jones of Iron River and friends. Private services will be held.
